紫白地黄丸と金桂仁丸は一緒に飲めません。 知柏地黄丸と金桂仁氣丸は、ともに地黄、山薬、桂枝茯苓丸、茯苓、牡丹皮、沢瀉などの成分を含む独自の漢方薬で、互いに重なり合うため、同時に服用してはならない。
1.知柏地黄丸は、知母、黄柏、黄連、山茱萸、牡丹皮からなり、陰を養い火を弱める作用があり、陰虚（体内の陰と精が不足し、火が亢進している状態）、ほてり（熱が一気に出る状態）、寝汗（入眠後に異常な発汗があるが、起床後は止まっている状態）、短小尿（尿の量が少なく、色が濃い黄色）などに用いられます。
2. Jin Gui Kidney Qi Pill, composed of Dihuang, Yam, Radix Polygoni Multiflori, Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, Psyllium Heterophyllum, Psyllium Heterophyllum and so on; it has the efficacy of warming and tonifying the kidney yang (warming and replenishing the yang qi of the kidneys), transforming qi to move the water (facilitating the movement of gas and thus promoting the movement of water and liquid); it is used in treating kidney deficiency with oedema, aching of the waist and knees (the sensation of aching of the waist and knees and the feeling of being weak and feeble), unfavourable urination (the feeling of not having a smooth urine flow), and fearing of coldness and limb coldness (fear of being cold, cold extremities).
金桂腎気丸は妊娠中の女性には禁忌で、部屋の欲望、ガスを避け、冷たいものを食べないようにする。
