呉子派生丸剤と劉薇地黄丸は、腎を補い、精を益し、陰を養う。 サイリウム、シサンドラ、ラズベリー、セメン・カスキュタエ、フルクトゥス・リシイからなる呉子導引丸は、腎を補い精を益する（体内の腎精を補充する）効果があり、主に腎精不足によるインポテンツや不妊症、腰痛、精子無力症や早漏、排尿後の残尿などの治療に用いられます。 五子散の副作用と禁忌は明確ではない。 しかし、服用中は性交渉を控える必要があり、風邪や発熱のある患者には適さない。 Liu Wei Di Huang Wan (六味地黄丸), composed of Zedo, Poria, Mudan Pi (牡丹皮), Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata (熟地), Rhizoma Coptidis (山药) and Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum (酒萸肉), has the function of nourishing yin and tonifying the kidneys and is mainly used for treating kidney yin deficiency, soreness of the lower back and knees (a feeling of soreness and weakness of the lower back and knees), bone vapour and tidal fever (a burst of heat and the feeling of heat penetrating out from the inside of the bones), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and ceasing sweating after awakening), spermatorrhea, and dizziness and ringing in ears. 劉維帝黄丸の副作用や禁忌は不明である。 しかし、服用期間中は消化の悪いものを食べないようにする；風邪や発熱のある患者には適さない。 患者が服用する必要がある場合は、副作用を避けるために医師の指導の下で服用することをお勧めします。
