方豊西悦湯は辛涼・通毛の効能があり、温性時の発疹、麻疹の初発、発熱・咳嗽、寒熱の初発などの症状を改善する効果があります。
Fangfeng Xieduo Tang is a traditional Chinese medicine formula from “The Complete Book of Measles and Pimples”, in which Fangfeng and Thornybush are the principal herbs, which have the effect of clearing rashes and relieving symptoms; Mentha piperita, forsythia and burdock are the subject herbs, which can remove wind and detoxify the toxins and clear rashes with pungent coolness; Gypsum and Zhi Materia Medica can clear the lungs and stomach; Mutong and Bamboo Leaves can clear the heart and relieve diuresis; Hovenia Citri Reticulatae and Platanum Contagiosum can promote the Qi circulation and resolve phlegm to relieve the mouth; and Glycyrrhiza Glutinosa can reconcile all herbs.
辛味・涼味・通毛の効能を持つ方剤で、温疹（熱疹）、麻疹の初発、発熱・咳嗽、悪寒・発熱（寒熱同時）などで、麻疹かどうか確定していない場合に用いる。 この処方の副作用は明らかにされておらず、患者の実際の状態によって加えたり、減らしたり、変更したりすることができる。
患者は、方剤独活湯を使用する際、専門の漢方医の指導を受けるべきであり、無差別に使用すべきではない。
